Who We Are

TYIPD was started in 2021 after realizing the high level of youth unemployment in Uganda Tororo particularly. Post Covid 19, there was increased teenage pregnancy and increased school dropout. Therefore, the organization was started to pursue the common goal of ending education inequity and support youth dropped from school post covid 19. The organization runs 2 main programs including skills training for youth and training teachers

Our Objectives

To equip vulnerable groups aged 15 and above years with skills to sustain themselves and improve their livelihood in their
communities.
To conduct Continuous professional development for teachers in good practices of teaching and leadership in order to curb the high rate of youth school dropout.
To train the youths to acquire problem solving skills during
uncertain times for example COVID-19 pandemic.
To support and strengthen vulnerable communities and orphans on skills, knowledge and values and offer them hope during
uncertainties.

To give back trade skills and technical support to ensure that youth and parents take keen interest in technical and vocational education.
To increase the personal creativity as far as technical subjects are concerned.
To build a brighter future for the vulnerable community and orphans.
To train communities on hands on skills for sustainable living
To open up a Professional Development Center that can provide
affordable skills and continuous professional support to the
